micro1 is seeking an experienced Autodesk Fusion 360 Specialist to work remotely on AI training data work. You'll apply your advanced parametric CAD modeling expertise to develop and refine high-quality 3D mechanical models that help train AI systems. Your role involves creating fully parametric models from detailed briefs, editing existing designs to meet evolving specifications, and auditing CAD files for accuracy and manufacturability. You'll also document design decisions and communicate technical insights to support both the AI training process and team collaboration.
This position suits advanced CAD professionals with deep hands-on experience in parametric modeling and a strong grasp of manufacturing constraints—injection molding, sheet metal work, CNC machining, casting, and forging. While Autodesk Fusion 360 expertise is your starting point, proficiency transfers directly to FreeCAD, which is the primary software for this project. GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5) and the ability to apply manufacturing principles to optimize designs are highly valued. No prior AI experience is required; your domain knowledge is what matters.
