**Data Analyst – CAD Data Generation & Validation (Remote)**
micro1 is seeking an intermediate-level data analyst to support AI training initiatives through specialized CAD work. In this remote role, you'll create, refine, and validate precise parametric CAD models using FreeCAD, building diverse datasets of mechanical parts and assemblies that feed AI model development. Your focus will be on geometric accuracy, engineering standards, and quality assurance—ensuring that the data you produce directly improves how AI systems learn to understand real-world mechanical design.
Your responsibilities include producing robust CAD models, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles, conducting quality reviews, and documenting workflows for reproducibility. You'll also have the opportunity to use Python scripting to automate and enhance modeling tasks where applicable. This role suits professionals with a coding or technical background who bring 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, or industrial engineering—particularly those comfortable with parametric CAD software and manufacturing best practices.
