AI Safety Red Teamer – Remote, Intermediate Level
AIUC is seeking experienced red teamers to strengthen AI safety through adversarial testing of frontier AI systems. In this remote role, you'll design challenging prompts and stress-test models to uncover vulnerabilities and behavioral weaknesses. Your work involves evaluating how AI systems respond to complex, high-risk, and ambiguous scenarios—identifying potential jailbreaks and failure modes that could inform safer AI development. This is hands-on AI safety work that requires both technical thinking and creative problem-solving.
The ideal candidate has a coding background and intermediate experience with AI systems or data work. You'll work 40 hours per week on an hourly basis, with compensation listed at $70–$84/hour depending on experience. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing directly to identifying and mitigating AI safety risks in cutting-edge systems.
