We're seeking an experienced Music Production Expert to join our AI evaluation team at Mercor. In this remote role, you'll assess generative music AI models by analyzing AI-generated audio across multiple genres and comparing outputs against established quality benchmarks. Your expertise will help shape the development of music AI technology through detailed evaluations of musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production standards.
This intermediate-level position suits music producers and audio engineers with strong listening skills and production knowledge. You'll work approximately 20 hours per week on a flexible, remote basis, evaluating music samples and providing structured feedback. This is AI training and data work that directly contributes to advancing generative music systems.
Compensation is $13–$17/hour as listed on the Mercor platform.
